Privacy Policy

What this covers

This policy describes what Burgndy.ai (“we,” “us”) collects, why, and how it’s handled, across the website and the Burgndy.ai app.

Information we collect

Account information — email address, display name, and profile photo, via Firebase Authentication (email/password or Google Sign-In).
What you build — your prompts, generated app source code, app names and descriptions, any style/branding input, and reference images or design files you provide (e.g. a Figma import).
Payment information — handled directly by our payment processor, Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details — only your plan tier, credit balance, and subscription status.
Connected third-party credentials — if you connect your own Razorpay merchant account, GitHub account, or a service like Twilio/SendGrid/ Slack so your generated app can use them, those credentials are encrypted (Google Cloud KMS) before storage and only decrypted server-side at the moment they’re actually used.
Usage data — your build history, credit and quota usage, and (if you request device testing) real screenshots/video captured from a cloud test device or simulator.
Technical logs — standard server logs (IP address, timestamps, error traces) kept for reliability and security, generated automatically by the underlying Google Cloud/Firebase infrastructure.

How we use it

To generate your app — your prompt and, for follow-up changes, your app’s existing source code are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API and/or Google’s Gemini API to produce and refine real code. These providers process that content to return a result; they are not used to train models on your data beyond what their own terms specify.
To compile, test, and deploy — your source code is built and run inside isolated cloud sandboxes, CI runners, and (for device testing) a real emulator/simulator or cloud device.
To process payments — via Razorpay.
To operate and secure the service — detecting abuse, enforcing quotas, and keeping the platform reliable.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your data. It’s shared only with the real providers this product runs on:

Anthropic and Google (Claude/Gemini APIs) — process prompts and code during generation.
Google Cloud / Firebase — hosting, database, authentication, storage, and compute.
Razorpay — payment processing.
GitHub — only if you choose to connect your account to push your generated app’s source to your own repository.

Data retention

Account and app data is kept while your account is active. Deployed web apps that get no real visits for 14 days are automatically taken down to control cost — pinning a deploy (available on paid plans) or connecting a custom domain keeps it running. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us.

Cookies and tracking

We don’t use third-party advertising trackers or analytics cookies today. Sign-in relies on Firebase Authentication’s own session mechanism.

Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your data, or ask what we hold about you, by emailing advaita@burgndy.ai.

Children’s privacy

Burgndy.ai isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
